Why this site exists
I'm Sam. I've played golf most of my life, usually with the older generation of my family.
The Gear Scout started when my dad and uncle were losing yards off the tee, still playing drivers built for the swings they had a decade ago. I set out to find each of them a better-matched driver without breaking the bank. It worked: with their new drivers, both now hit it about 10 yards further off the tee.
Finding a used club that actually fitted meant hours of reading listing titles. This site does that work for you.
How it stays independent
- We don't sell clubs or hold stock. Every result is a live used listing on eBay.
- No manufacturer or retailer pays to appear here or to rank higher.
- We earn a commission from eBay when you buy through a link. It never changes the order: results are ranked by fit, and among equal fits the cheaper club comes first.
