Used TaylorMade Senior Flex Drivers
Two groups of TaylorMade turn up in a soft flex, and it is worth knowing which you are looking at.
- The Qi35 and Qi10 family is the current line. Qi35 Max is the one you will see most and it is a sensible default: forgiving, and made in 10.5 and 12 degrees. Its Max Lite sibling is the lighter build, so read the shaft weight on the card rather than trusting the name.
- Everything else is older, and there is a lot of it. Burner, RBZ, JetSpeed, AeroBurner and the M-series were all sold heavily in soft flexes, which is why they fill this page. They are large, forgiving heads that cost a fraction of the current line, and what you give up is face technology rather than the things that make a driver easy to hit.
- The draw-biased heads, the M4 and M6 D-Type and the Stealth HD, are the ones to hold out for if you slice. They are thinner on the ground than the sheer volume of TaylorMade here would lead you to expect.
